Flow class

Flow entails movement coordinated with the breath, and may include a variety of yoga styles, such as vinyasa, hatha, ashtanga, iyengar and/or kundalini (depending on the teacher). In this moderately paced class, you’ll combine foundational yoga postures with strong breath work. Class will include several standing and balance postures, dynamic movement and deep stretch as you move energetically and mindfully. Modifications and opportunities for challenge are both present. open to all levels of ability.

Heated Power Flow

Power flow entails connecting breath with body as you move through intermediate to advanced postures, with a focus on muscle engagement, core work and alignment. Mind and body are strengthened in this moderate to quick-paced flow set in a heated room (towels and water encouraged). This class is not recommended for those with injuries, high blood pressure or who are pregnant. This is an advanced class, and ideal if you have a prior athletic background or extensive yoga experience, and can handle the addition of heat.

Slow Flow class
Slow flow helps you Bring awareness to your mind and body by focusing on feelings, sensations and thoughts as you move gently through postures coupled with breathwork. Mindfulness meditation and deep stretch are also incorporated throughout the practice, as well as some accessible opportunities for strength. Those wanting to learn foundational yoga postures or are beginners to yoga will benefit from this class, in addition to anyone needing some relaxation (i.e. everyone!).

Deep Stretch

Deep stretch involves holding grounded postures for 1-3 minutes while relaxing the mind and body. This slow-paced class is designed to Improve your flexibility and bring in more mental clarity. This class is highly beneficial for aging populations and those recovering from past injuries, in addition to those who have sedentary jobs. It also complements other styles of yoga and athletic activities as a way to lengthen/release the muscles after strengthening. Deep stretch may include elements of restorative, yin, meditation, and always with a focus on the breath.

Candlelit Yin

Candlelit Yin class

Yin is a meditative style of yoga that strengthens the joints, tendons and ligaments through long-held (4-6 minutes), passive, grounding postures that gradually open the body. Modifications are available depending on flexibility and physical needs. Mindfulness, breathwork and mantra meditation are recurring themes in yin to allow for mental clarity and release. This class is complementary to many forms of exercise and is highly beneficial for aging populations and those recovering from past injuries.

Prenatal/Postnatal Yoga

Prenatal yoga class

Prenatal/postnatal yoga is a class designed for expecting mothers and moms who have recently given birth. You’ll be slowly guided through postures with a focus on strengthening the body safely, prop usage, breath work, healing and relaxation. All trimesters are welcomed to attend; no experience required. This class is also open to those who are planning to become pregnant to learn beneficial movements and breathing techniques. Self-care is the theme of this nourishing class for mind and body.

our Pilates mat class is designed to build strength, flexibility and mobility, with a touch of yoga mindfulness included. you’ll move through grounding exercises with repetition and subtle adjustments to target deep muscle groups. No experience necessary – all levels and abilities welcomed to attend.
