“I came to yoga as an avid runner to find relief for sore joints and muscles. And from the cold Connecticut winters! The first yoga class I took was a Bikram Yoga class. As someone who loves structure and reliability, I loved the practice and pursued it until entering graduate school. Upon moving to the Twin Cities in 2011, I discovered CorePower Yoga and my love for yoga grew. After my first burnout experience in the corporate world, I pursued and earned my 200-hour certification from CorePower and was fortunate to begin teaching at Studio One Yoga in Stillwater, MN. Upon returning to NC in 2014, I taught at Gotta Yoga, Englighten Yoga, and CorePower Yoga in Charlotte.
I’ve completed trainings with Jason Crandall, Ida Jo & Scott Lamps, and CorePower Yoga’s Level 2 Advanced Teacher Training. I’m also a certified Life Coach focusing on managing your unique energy and navigating life’s transitions. Coming out of the pandemic, my practice has become more mindful and intentional focusing on how it complements other forms of movement and can help calm and focus the mind. I enjoy a good, rhythmic flow as much as I enjoy a 90-minute Yin practice. When I’m not on my mat, I enjoy cooking, reading, tending to my many plants, and volunteering with the Humane Society of Charlotte. I look forward to seeing you on your mat and being a part of your journey!”
