“In 2015, I started practicing yoga as a way to help manage stress and anxiety. I was introduced first to gentle and restorative yoga. It was amazing to see my anxiety decrease with each practice. Over time, I felt more comfortable with my practice and began taking vinyasa classes, which helped me to feel both calm and powerful in my body at the same time. In 2017, I started yoga teacher training with Bella Vita in Charlotte, NC. There, I discovered a love for kids yoga. As a former special education teacher and current BCBA, I saw a need to bring yoga to children with and without disabilities. I took additional training through Grounded Kids Yoga to become more prepared to teach yoga to a younger population. Over the years, I have taken trainings in trauma sensitive yoga and restorative yoga. I believe that my yoga class should be a safe
