“My yoga journey began with casual classes alongside friends at local breweries—lighthearted and just for fun. As life shifted during Covid, so did my relationship with the practice, evolving into something more grounding and personal. I found myself wanting to find community and to learn new ways to expand my practice. I heard about a new studio opening in town and knew I needed to sign up for a class. And I’m so glad I did! Finding my way to the welcoming community at BY was a turning point. I’ve built lasting friendships, found support and uncovered a desire to keep learning.
I am proud to be part of the very first yoga teacher training at Belmont Yoga, a powerful experience that deepened both my practice and my purpose. I’m excited to now share yoga with others and help guide students in their own practice—wherever they are on their journey.
I’ve been living with Crohn’s disease since 2013 and it can be challenging, especially when so much feels out of my control—but through yoga, I’ve learned tools that help me cope, stay present and reconnect with my body.
When I’m not on my mat, I’m probably walking the dogs or hanging out with family. I love getting lost in a good book, a warm cup of tea, wandering through bookstores and spending time outside.”
