“In 2012 while in college at NC State, I found myself unable to cope with the stress and anxiety that final exams brought. Getting sick from stress and hurt from running seemed to be a constant for me, until I found yoga. Yoga has helped ease my anxiety while giving me the ability to find peace within myself. It has offered a better coping mechanism for stress and a greater mind-body connection than I had ever had before. I am passionate about proselytizing the benefits of yoga for everyone. Yoga is meant to be inclusive; there is no one that is excluded from the benefits that yoga can produce, not to mention the fun and loving community it creates. Everyone comes to yoga for a different reason, and it is my goal to meet them wherever they are to find their best practice and best self.
I live in downtown Belmont with my husband Nick, who can occasionally be talked into coming to class with me (strictly to help his golf game of course) and our black cat Luna. We love the town and the community we have found at Belmont Yoga. Best people in town!”
