“My yoga journey began over 20 years ago. I had a very activated nervous system for many years from different stressors (Having a parent with mental illness, being in harmful situations and working in the hospital, tending to life and death situations daily). Over years of yoga practice, I gained awareness that I was living in a state of fight or flight/survival mode. Having a consistent yoga and breathwork practice has had the most powerful impact on my health and nervous system regulation. Teaching yoga while encompassing breathwork allows me to share this transformative practice with others. I aim to help guide individuals to find balance, healing, and inner peace.
My passion is to live life adventurously while nurturing my mental, physical and spiritual health. When I’m not working in the hospital or teaching yoga, you can find me traveling and exploring new places often out in nature. I love a good impromptu yoga session outside on a mountain top! I find joy in helping others live in nurturing ways whether it is in a yoga studio, hospital room or on a hiking trail in another country.”
