“It was over 15 years ago in the midst of working a demanding and completely unaligned corporate job that I discovered yoga. One of my lovely coworkers began offering a lunch time yoga class to help everyone manage the stress of the job. And thanks to her, I was hooked! Yoga not only helped me manage the daily stresses of that job, but it taught me to find my center and my breath in a way that also moved my body in beautiful and beneficial ways. Since that time, yoga has been my center through countless moves, jobs, graduate school, marriage, divorce, the birth of my child, times of joy, and times of heartbreak. I don’t know who I would be without it…it is not just a practice of postures and flow, yoga is a way of life that always brings me back to myself and the collective. My passion in life is to pursue and guide others into finding Oneness, alignment, and truth through our bodies, our minds, and our spirits. It is an honor and a privilege to share a space and a mat with you all.

When I’m not practicing yoga, I’m raising my beautiful 10-year-old daughter, dog Lily and new kitten Gracie, working my full-time job as a speech-language pathologist, practicing Shamanism and all things spiritual, traveling the world, hiking, snow skiing, enjoying music and concerts and spending time with the people I love. If there is an adventure to be had, sign me up every single time! I am a firm believer that any activity is better with good company. I was raised in Gaston County and have returned here again after years of living in other areas of North Carolina, Virginia, and Georgia. Belmont is my chosen community, and I am honored to lead others through practicing and living yoga right here at home.”
