“I stumbled into my first yoga class in 2013. I thought yoga seemed like something that cool people did, and I wanted to be the cool girl who practiced yoga. Little did I know yoga would completely change my mindset and my life in process (sounds dramatic, but it’s the truth).
In 2018, I received my RYT-200 from Laughing Buddha Yoga Studio in Tempe. I began teaching right away and taught at several studios in the Phoenix area. I’m a Nebraska native but have spent the last decade moving around a lot. My husband and I moved here from Arizona in 2022. I graduated from Arizona State University in 2019 with a degree in dietetics/nutrition.
Like many, the practice of yoga has given me a lot of gifts. I suffered from an eating disorder throughout my late teens and early twenties and practicing yoga taught me how to live in and love my body. I had spent much of my youth avoiding myself and my feelings, and this powerful practice helped me come home to myself. I believe that yoga has so much to offer the world and I love sharing this practice with my community.
When I’m not doing yoga, you can catch me hiking, camping, or hanging out with my daughter, Eveline, and my husband.”
