  • If a class is still going on when you arrive, please wait in the storefront until all students have exited and the Instructor has finished cleaning.
  • For safety, our cubbies are located inside our studio space. Place your shoes, phone and personal belongings in an open cubby; please also silence your phone.
  • Mats are available to be borrowed for class, however, we encourage you to bring your own mat if you have one. yoga Props are available for your use within the studio.

General Guidelines And Etiquette

  • We are a trauma-informed yoga studio. this means that you will never be photographed/recorded while a class is in session, you will always be offered modifications and options if you’re not comfortable in a specific posture, the lights will remain on during non-candlelit classes (with the exception of savasana at the end), and you will not be hands-on assisted without your prior consent. if you have other concerns that you’d like us to be aware of, please Email Us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate and support you in your practice.
  • Limit injury to yourself and others by understanding your body’s limits, practicing safely on your mat, and allowing an Instructor to assist you as needed.
  • Alert the Instructor if you have any special needs that require modifications or are currently expecting.
  • phone usage is not permitted during class. If you are expecting an urgent phone call, or have an emergency situation, please inform the instructor and excuse yourself from class to take the call outside.
  • Please Be respectful of other students, our space and the Instructor at all times.
  • students are not permitted to sit in the storefront during non-store hours while a class is going on. you may remain in the studio space or go outside; our storefront is filled with valuable items belonging to local artists/artisans, and this space is considered a retail store with its own hours outside of classes for security purposes.
  • children under 12 are not permitted to attend classes for adults, nor are they permitted to sit in the studio or the lobby for the duration of an adult class. teens aged 13-15 may attend an adult class if accompanied by a parent/legal guardian; teens aged 16-18 may attend an adult class on their own. all minors still need their own account and class registration to attend.

Illness Guidelines

  • Please stay home if you are not feeling well and/or experiencing any symptoms of illness.

  • if you are recovering from a recent illness, please inform the instructor and turn your assist card to “no” so that we do not spread germs to other students through hands-on assists.

  • Please give all used props to the Instructor after class. All of our props are thoroughly sanitized in between classes.
